Day 1 – Arrive Spokane
Fly into Spokane, Washington today and transfer to your hotel. We recommend you arrive by 3:00pm. Upon arrival at your hotel in the heart of downtown, meet your Southwest Adventure Tours tour director who will assist with hotel check in and information on how to spend the rest of your free evening in Spokane.

Day 2 – Wallace - Missoula (Sun)
This morning, depart Spokane and travel east entering Idaho and driving along the shores of Lake Coeur D' Alene. Arrive in the historic mining town of Wallace, Idaho, famous as the “Silver Capital of the World.” Every building in this town is listed on the National Historic Register so there is something to spark fond memories around every corner. Enjoy the Sierra Silver Mine tour, a unique experience as you travel into the underground world of mining in the richest silver district on earth. You will learn about the town’s history as you take a short drive to the mine entrance, then don hardhats as you join a local miner who will guide you through the main drift of the mine. Displays and exhibits are explained so people of all ages may safely observe equipment in operation and see modern and historical techniques used to mine silver, lead and zinc. After an included lunch, continue eastward entering Montana and arrive a the Smokejumpers Base Aerial Fire Depot near Missoula for touring. The small museum include dioramas, historical photographs, and artifacts relating to the history of Forest Service Smoke Jumpers. An actual Smokejumpers will then give a guided tour of the base and offer firsthand accounts of firefighting and smokejumping. Later arrive at your hotel in Missoula, dinner is included this evening.

Day 3 – Big Fork – Flathead River – Glacier (Mon)
Depart Missoula this morning and travel north through “Big Sky Country” and along the shores of beautiful Flathead Lake on your way to the quaint town of Big Fork. Big Fork, the “Village by the Bay” is home to wonderful art galleries and restaurants, you will have time to explore and have lunch on your own. This afternoon, begin your Glacier experience as you enjoy Rafting on the Middle Fork of the Flathead River. Starting from West Glacier, you'll pass through a steep, walled canyon and see where the Middle and North Forks of the Flathead come together to form the southern tip of Glacier National Park. This is a relaxing trip for all ages. After a fun experience, travel to East Glacier for a two night stay at historic Glacier Park Lodge. If time allows, visit Two Medicine area and take a short hike to Running Eagle Falls. Evening free at the Lodge.

Day 4 – Many Glacier (Tue)
Today you will take in the grandeur of Glacier National Park "The Crown of the Continent,” as you take a scenic drive to Many Glacier Hotel. This beautiful Swiss style lodge was constructed in 1915 and is now a National Historic Landmark and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is a wonderful location with stunning views and a variety of activities. Take a ride on the sightseeing boat "Chief Two Guns" for a cruise on Swiftcurrent Lake, then take a short 300 yard walk over the hill to Lake Josephine. Here the "Morning Eagle" awaits your arrival for a cruise on this pristine lake. From here you have a variety of hiking choices. A moderately strenuous 7 mile round trip hike to spectacular Grinnell Glacier, a moderate hike to Grinnell Lake or an easy hike on the foot trail around both lakes back to the lodge. You can also cruise back across the lakes at the end of your hike. Your guide will assist with additional optional activities such as horseback riding, fishing, jeep tours, canoeing, etc. Later in the day, return to Glacier Park Lodge for overnight.

Day 5 – Going to the Sun (Wed)
Today experience Glacier National Park as you travel the world famous Going to the Sun Road. First, travel to beautiful St. Mary, where you will board vintage Red Bus “Jammer” Touring Cars that will take you on a 52-mile drive that crests the Continental Divide at Logan Pass and is famous for its majestic snow caped mountains, deep valleys and shimmering lakes. There will be time at the apex, Logan Pass, to explore the visitors center and take a short walk along the scenic trails. Then you will descend into the western side of the park on your way to Lake McDonald Lodge. Enjoy some free time to explore and have lunch on your own. Optional boat cruises on Lake McDonald are available. In the afternoon, travel to the small town of Kalispell and your hotel with the evening free.

Day 6 – Silver Mountain - Coeur d’Alene (Thu)
After breakfast, depart and travel west returning to Idaho. Arrive at Silver Mountain Resort in Kellogg and enjoy a Scenic Gondola Ride to the top of Silver Mountain. At 3.1 miles from the bottom to the top, this is North America's longest gondola. Soak in the fresh mountain air and natural beauty before returning to the bottom where lunch awaits. Continue west returning to the Lake Coeur D' Alene area and enter the Coeur d’Alene Nation and arrive at the Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort for overnight. After some free time to relax and take advantage of the many activities and amenities offered at the resort, join the group for a farewell dinner that includes a cultural experience with Tribal Members who will share their stories, music and dance. A great way to conclude your Glacier experience.

Day 7 – Home (Fri)
This morning, transfer to the Spokane Airport by shuttle for your flights home.
