  • Arrive in Salt Lake City today as your winter adventure begins. Please arrive at the Salt Lake Airport before 2:00pm. Upon arrival, meet your local guide and depart for a scenic 2.5 hour drive past the Great Salt Lake, through beautiful Logan Canyon and on to Bear Lake which is located on the Utah / Idaho border. Arrive at Harbor Village and Sunrise Resort, a cozy lodge that will be your home for the next 5 nights. This region, known as the Logan Canyon Snowmobile Complex, is one of northern Utah's unique recreation treasures. Some 180 miles of well-groomed snowmobile trails wind through the Wasatch-Cache National Forest and provide snowmobiling opportunities that are consistently included in lists of the West's top riding areas. Access to some of the best and uncrowded riding areas in the country is why we chose this location to hold our snowmobile camp. After checking in, join the group for a welcome dinner, followed by free time to relax on your own. Sunrise Resort has many amenities including a game loft area with a billiards table, ping pong, air hockey & foosball, a 40-seat surround sound theater, small gym, stunning lake views and an outdoor hot tub. It will be a wonderful place to relax each evening, play games and reminisce on the day’s adventures.

  • After a delicious breakfast, join the group for an introduction to snowmobiling classroom instruction. Your expert guide will cover an introduction to operating a snowmobile, back country survival and first aid, troubleshooting problems on the mountain and avalanche awareness and safety. After an included lunch at the lodge, take a short drive to Beaver Creek Lodge for live training on snowmobiles. You will go through a skills course to develop your driving and handling abilities, then put them to use on the trail. All under your guides supervision, of course. Then return to the resort with some time to freshen up before going out to dinner at Coopers, a restaurant and sports bar with a view. The rest of the evening is free on your own at the resort.

  • After breakfast and gearing up, depart for a full day snowmobile adventure through the Sinks Complex. This trail features gradual climbs and falls through the trees. It is especially scenic and uncrowded, making it a favorite of local riders. Access to some of the best play and hill climbing areas in the region are via this trail. It will be a full day with a sack lunch and treats on the mountain, stunning views, wildlife and of course plenty of riding fun. Return to the resort with some free time to relax and freshen up before heading to dinner at another local favorite, Cody’s Gastro Garage, a fun classic car themed restaurant.

Whatever you choose, it is sure to be a great day in this winter wonderland. After a full day of fun, join the group for a trip to the Bear Lake Outdoor Mineral Tubs where you can soak away in natural outdoor heated mineral pools. Dinner this evening is at Bear Lake Pizza Company, famous for its giant “Old Ephraim” pizza, named after a massive grizzly bear that terrorized the region in the early 1900s.

  • Today your destination by snowmobile is St. Charles Peak. This will be a full day ride on groomed trails that travel into Idaho to reach this remarkable peak. At an altitude of 9,700 feet, a person can stand on this Idaho peak and see from the Grand Tetons of Wyoming to the Uinta Mountains of Utah. This ride is also popular for its large basins and deep powder. Your guides will cook a hot lunch right on the mountain today. A highlight of this guided ride is a trip through our very own mountain luge called the pig trough. This thrill ride takes you through a steep draw with high banks to play on. After returning to the hotel, join the group for a delicious farewell dinner followed by a video & slide show recap of your week. What a fantastic way to conclude your snowmobiling experience!
