Guide
Jenny Wadman
I grew up in Northern Utah. I was an elementary school teacher for 30 years which left all my summers open to hike the Northern peaks. I had my first date with my husband in Zion National Park, love at first sight in both cases. I decided when I retired, I wanted to move to Southern Utah. Luckily for me, I met someone that suggested I work for a company that guided hikes in Zion. I knew this would be my perfect job. I could still teach but the curriculum would be about Utahβs amazing landscape.
I love seeing the looks on my guestsβ faces when I take them somewhere new in Zion. Itβs like I get to see Zion for the first time through their eyes.
Why I love being a guide
I enjoy the people I work with. We are all passionate about the outdoors which makes for great friendships. It also makes us excited to share the Southwest with guests because we know how lucky we are to have such a beautiful place to explore.
My guiding style
My guests would describe me as very energetic and lots of positive energy. They can expect a tour guide very passionate about the park and excited to share stories and facts about the trail.
