Matthew Moore
I grew up in Alaska and love showing people everything that Alaska has to offer! Exploring the ocean and mountains, fishing, hunting and hiking are some of the things I do here with my family. I attended Southern Utah University and love the Red Rock Country.
For me guiding the Northern Lights Alaska Tour, it is always special seeing the Aurora Borealis. It never gets old!
Why I love being a guide
I like being able to show people what it was like growing up in Alaska and the variety it has.
My guiding style
I like talking and sharing the Alaskan experiences I had growing up. I also like to jump right in with the guests and enjoy the places and activities we are doing!
Favorite places
Kenai Fjords National Park is right in my backyard so it is always one of my favorites. I recently visited Wrangell-St. Elias National Park and it was mind blowing!
Fun facts
I have a Master 100 Near Coastal License and Able Seafarer Endorsement. I love to hunt and fish. I have run the Mount Marathon 5K Race in Seward, Alaska a total of 8 times (3 times as a youth, 5 times as an adult)!
