Guide
Teresa Peterson
I worked as a teacher/coach/guidance counselor for 34 years in St. George. I love everything outdoors and am up to trying new challenges. Being in the nature around us always energizes me and puts a smile on my face.
I look forward to meeting the guests for the first time and then seeing each guest find their favorite spot
Why I love being a guide
Southwest Adventure Tours gives me the opportunity to show people some of the most beautiful places in this country. I love watching peopleβs faces light up when they see some of the National Parks for the first time. I also love sharing little known facts with guests.
My guiding style
I am an energetic person who tries to bring fun into each tour. I like to listen to what the guests are saying and what they want to see.
Favorite places
I have a hard time picking a favorite park or place, I am able to find so much beauty in each one and each place is unique. I never get tired of Bryce Canyon National Park because of a core memory of seeing it for the first time with my dad.
Fun facts
- I enjoy meeting new people, reading, and hanging out outdoors with my dog.
- Trail running is one of my favorite outdoor activities.
