Guide
Wynn Hall
I was born in a small town in Idaho. This is probably why my love for the outdoors is just a part of me. My father always had me & my siblings out in nature hiking, fishing, hunting & camping. As an adult my happy place is in the great outdoors.
The times in each adventure that guests get to take in breathtaking views or the wonder of seeing wildlife in their natural environment. I love guests expressions of wonder, awe, and delight.
Why I love being a guide
I had a 35 year career in the financial field. Over six years ago the opportunity to work with Southwest Adventure tours came knocking. I jumped in and have never looked back. The most rewarding thing for me is the time I get to spend out in the beautiful outdoor places. I love the mountains, red rock, rivers, lakes & streams. Wildlife fascinates me. Sharing all of this with guests on our tours is very rewarding. Seeing guests wonder and awe as we visit the National Parks and wild places is priceless.
My guiding style
Hopefully guests would feel the passion I have for the wide open wild places we visit. My style is hands on, fun, energetic. I love to share the history & lore of these places through stories. I try to personalize experiences to the interests & needs of guests on each tour.
Favorite places
It is hard to narrow down to my favorite park or outdoor place. Utahβs Mighty Five National parks are unforgettable with majestic red rock & panoramic vistas. The hiking is always a thing that puts me in a happy place. Grand Teton & Yellowstone offer unique features and the wildlife is amazing. Glacier National Park offers pristine glacier lakes, views and landscapes. Jenny Lake in the Tetons is probably my favorite place for beauty, hiking & wildlife.
