Depart Salt Lake City and travel north through Logan Canyon and past Bear Lake on the way to Montpelier, Idaho and the National Oregon/California Trail Center for touring. Enter Wyoming with a stop in Afton for lunch on your own before traveling to Jackson, WY for a two-night stay. This afternoon, enter Grand Teton National Park for sightseeing. Dinner tonight will be at one of the fantastic local restaurants in Jackson.

Enter Grand Teton National Park and start your day with a wonderful Float Trip down the Snake River. Then enjoy wildlife and photography opportunities as you tour the park including Jenny Lake, Jackson Lake and Coulter Bay and more. It will be an afternoon of hiking and wildlife watching. Return to Jackson for a relaxing evening in town.

Make one more scenic drive through Grand Teton as you travel to Yellowstone National Park for a day of sightseeing. After passing through Lewis Canyon and the West Thumb area, you will focus on the Geyser Basins starting with Old Faithful and Old Faithful Village for lunch. Afterwards explore Grand Prismatic Spring, Firehole Geyser Basin and Fountain Paint Pots. There will be some great walks and multiple opportunities to enjoy watching the wildlife within the park. Later in the afternoon Evening Free in West Yellowstone.

Return to Yellowstone National Park and explore the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, Hayden Valley and Yellowstone Lake. In the afternoon, travel eastward exiting the park on the way to Cody for overnight. Cody was named for the man who made this region so famous, William Cody, better known as Buffalo Bill. Tonight, join the group for a night of western food and entertainment at the Cody Cattle Company with a chuckwagon-style dinner, traditional cowboy music and some laughs.

Today you travel eastward across the beautiful Big Horn Mountains with a rest stop along the way. The vast prairie lands of Wyoming open before you as you travel to the town of Gillette with a stop for lunch on your own. In the afternoon, arrive at the nation's very first National Monument, Devil's Tower. Here you will have a chance to learn a little more about the history, geology, and folklore surrounding this spot that is a sacred place to Native Americans. In the later afternoon, enjoy a beautiful drive through the Black Hills on your way to Deadwood for sightseeing in this rough-and-tumble western town famous for outlaws, gunslingers and lawmen alike. Enjoy some free time to explore and have dinner on your own before a short drive to your destination, Keystone, where you will check in for a two-night stay.

Today enjoy sightseeing in the Black Hills. Start your day with a beautiful drive to Mt. Rushmore National Memorial for a morning view of this magnificent monument. Next, make your way to Crazy Horse Memorial for sightseeing of the yet-unfinished mountain carving and insight into the Lakota culture. Next, travel to Custer State Park and the historic State Game Lodge with free time for lunch on your own. Then get up close and personal with the residents of this park as you head out on a Wildlife Jeep Safari to view the buffalo herds and much more. In the afternoon return to Keystone with some free time to explore and have dinner on your own. Later this evening, join the group for a wonderfully patriotic and inspiring event as you attend the Mt. Rushmore Evening Lighting Ceremony!

Depart Keystone and travel south into Wyoming for a day of discovery along the Oregon Trail. Arrive at Fort Laramie National Historic Site for touring and a picnic lunch. Then visit the Gurnsey Trail Ruts and an Oregon Trail Historic Marker as you travel to Casper. Western history comes alive as you visit the National Historic Trails Interpretive Center and if time allows Fort Casper. After checking into your hotel, dinner will be included at a local restaurant.

Depart Casper and follow the Oregon Trail with historic stops along the way. Pass through Alcova, Muddy Gap and Sweetwater Station on your way to South Pass and Farson. A box lunch is included today. In the afternoon, continue your journey through Rock Springs and Evanston on your way to Salt Lake City and the conclusion of your tour.
