Arrive in Manhattan, NY and start your fall foliage vacation. Explore the area around Times Square. There is so much to see and do in this area. For starters, it's the Broadway Theatre District hub and a worldwide entertainment hub. Take in all the lights and billboards in Times Square. Catch a show on Broadway or attend Good Morning America Live. There is lots of shopping and dining in the area. This afternoon, explore Times Square at your leisure. Macy's Herald Square is a Historic place to see. Don't forget to stop by One Times Square as this is the iconic New Year's Eve crystal ball drop site. Radio City Music Hall is the home of the Rockettes and don't forget to take a picture on the Famous Red Stairs which is a vibrant gathering place and a prelude to the magic of Broadway. This evening, enjoy Wicked a Broadway Show where you will meet the witches of Oz before Dorothy dropped in. Enjoy your evening.

Today Uber over to pick up your rental car and travel from Manhattan, NY over to Long Island, NY (2 hours). Travel over to Long Island and explore on your own. Then continue your travel up to Plymouth, MA (4.5 hours). Plymouth Patuxet is located in the beautiful coastal town of Plymouth, MA. This picturesque seaside destination offers a memorable New England getaway. Visit some of the most historic houses, museums, and monuments in Massachusetts — including the statue of Massasoit and the legendary Plymouth Rock, known as the "Landing Place of the Pilgrims." Don't forget to see the National Monument to the Forefathers as it commemorates the Mayflower Pilgrims. It is thought to be the world's largest solid granite monument. This morning, you will explore Plimoth Patuxet, Mayflower II, and the Grist Mill. When you are done with your tour make your way north to Boston (1 hour). Today enjoy all the views, historical sights, landmarks, and neighborhoods of Boston when you Hop aboard a Boston Duck Tour. Boston's only tour with a Big Splash! They can traverse both land and water to deliver breathtaking views all in one tour.
This afternoon, explore Boston at your leisure make sure you stop by the Public Garden to see the famous bronze ducks. The entire statue (9 ducks), installed on old Boston cobblestones, is 35 feet long starting from Mrs. Mallard in front all the way back to the last duckling, Quack. All based on a book published in 1941. From here take a relaxing Swan Boat ride lasts about 12-15 minutes while the driver pedals you and about 20 other guests around the Public Garden lagoon. Tickets are purchased at the Swan Boat dock prior to your departure.
This evening you can stroll along Rose Kennedy Greenway outside your hotel to enjoy an Italian dinner in the Boston's North End along Hanover Street, don't forget to stop by Mike's Pastry which is famous worldwide for some of the best Italian pastries. After dinner you can stroll over to Faneuil Hall Marketplace or Quincy Market which are historic retail & dining destinations. As you leave the Boston area, travel along Route 1a to enjoy your coastal ride up to Portsmouth, NH (2 hours). Portsmouth offers a delightful blend of history, charm and scenic beauty. Stroll along market Street where you'll find boutiques, galleries, quaint shopping and charming eateries. Portsmouth is New Hampshire's oldest settlement, was a vital seaport in the 17th century.
After lunch in Portsmouth continue your travels up to Portland, ME (1 hour). Portland is a mixture of artistic and outdoor adventure, the region is stylish and sophisticated, genuine and welcoming—a place where grey flannel and plaid flannel can coexist.
