By going on one of our most popular tours, Southwest Adventure Tours will show you Utah’s Mighty 5 national parks in 7-days. Those parks are Arches, Bryce Canyon, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, and Zion. Each park will enable you to see spectacular scenery and unique geological formations all within the southern half of Utah.
We love to show off our home State of Utah, so guiding your tour in these parks and the other scenic areas we cover is our specialty. All of our tour guides have been to these places many, many times. We know all these places like the backs of our hands. We’ll show you all the places that other people don’t know about!
This tour is purposely designed to begin in Salt Lake City and end in Las Vegas. Our tour is also customizable, including running it in either direction. It can include more physical and adventurous activities, more leisurely sightseeing, or more days to do both! It can also be modified to spend more time in specific places. Arrive at the SLC Airport and enjoy a group transfer to your hotel in Salt Lake City. The rest of the day is free to explore on your own.

Depart Salt Lake City, UT at 7:00 am and travel to Canyonlands National Park. After an included lunch, enjoy sightseeing of Canyonlands including the Visitors Center, Green River Overlook and Grand View Point with a chance to and hike along the rim of the Island in the Sky. This evening, arrive in the town of Moab and check in for a 2-night stay. Evening free to explore and have dinner on own.

This morning enter Arches National Park for sightseeing and short hiking. Hike to Landscape Arch, one of the longest natural arches in the world. Stop at Delicate Arch Viewpoint and visit the Windows Section and Double Arch. Lunch is included today. In the afternoon, a scenic drive along the Colorado River showcases ancient petroglyphs depicting animals, humans, and geometric patterns carved onto red-rock walls. Return to Moab with the evening free to explore and have dinner on own.

Explore the mystical landscape of Goblin Valley State Park. Delve into the narrows of Sulphur Creek or Grand Wash at Capital Reef National Park. Hike to the Hickman Bridge, a 133-foot natural bridge, or go down to the Grand Wash to explore the park’s deep canyons and narrows. Hike to Sulphur Creek Overlook and enjoy Panoramic Point. Arrive in Torrey for an included dinner and overnight.

Depart Torrey for a wonderful drive on Scenic Highway 12, an All-American Road, over Boulder Mountain and through Grand Staircase and Escalante National Monument. Then arrive Bryce Canyon National Park for sightseeing and hiking in this unique geologic wonder. Arrive at your hotel just outside the park, dinner is on own this evening.

Rise early to watch the sun rise over Bryce Canyon from one of its many viewpoints. Next take a scenic drive from Bryce Canyon to Zion National Park for a day of sightseeing and hiking. Experience massive 2,000-foot-high formations and towers, the Mt. Carmel Tunnel, Zion Canyon and the Virgin River. In the late afternoon, depart Zion and cross the Nevada Dessert on your way to Las Vegas for a final night. Join the group for a farewell dinner at a local restaurant to celebrate your Mighty 5 experiences.
